Eagle Family,
Respectfully, I am a successfully recognized principal, I have garnered the reputation of being a "turnaround" leader within the schools that I have served as principal for. I am entering my fourth year as an educator on the platform with over 5+ months of experience as a school administrator. Here at DeSoto High School, I have served as a high school teacher/ athletics coach, elementary school teacher/administrator, middle school assistant principal, and a middle school principal all within schools operated under the guidance of the DeSoto Independent School District. As of September 25th, 2018 I will be entering my 4th year as an educator at DeSoto High School.
I strongly believe that my ability to be a strong, effective leader while recognizing and nurturing the importance of my employees makes me an outstanding educator and principal within the DISD Community. I have a heart for making a difference in the lives of our students and I am passionate about effecting change, not only at DeSoto High School but also within the educational community and all around on the Roblox platform. The respect I have earned from teachers, staff, colleagues, and influencers is indicative of my professional approach and inclusive leadership style. I am known for devoting countless hours and giving extensive counts of my time to instruction, leadership, and to the vision of this school.
I am a product of public schools. Subsequently, I have received my D.A.C.E. within Social Studies as well as my D.A.C.E. within School Administration. As the newly appointed Principal for DeSoto High School, I am beyond thrilled to work with all students for the remainder of the semester into our Summer School session. It will be of course challenging, but a fun academic school year for all of our students and employees. I'm looking forward to embracing the current culture of the community, school, and the students that I hold to high levels of achievement. Eagles, as our “Founding Principal” has previously stated “DeSoto High School is not a place where we come to work; it is a place where individuals make dreams happen in real-time.
